This is a random selection from a large number of different clones from Borneo Exotics.
N. barcelonae is from the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Its lower pitchers are squat and completely lack wings, similar to the related N. sibuyanensis. However, N. barcelonae holds many more smaller pitchers at once and is reportedly more vigorous. This species has exceptionally long tendrils that will burrow through moss. BE hypothesises this is a trait that has evolved to stabilise and anchor the plant in the harsh typhoons.
These clones show lower pitchers are squat, uniformly orange, and completely lacking wings. Intermediates and upper pitchers shift towards a uniform light transparent green.
