N. boschiana (after Johannes van den Bosch) is endemic to the Meratus Mountains in South Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.
It is a very vigorous species tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions that has made its way into so many hybrids for that reason. It’s peristome is flared and dark purple while the pitcher body are elongated and flecked with purple. The pitchers grow quite large when the plant is mature.
