N. jacquelineae is endemic to the Indonesian island of Sumatra where it generally grows epiphytically in cool, dense mossy forests at ~1700m. These habitats are constantly shrouded in fog with daily rainfall.
It is one of the iconic ‘flared’ peristome and infundibular (funnel shaped) species. The lower pitchers are generally small, rarely being more than 6cm high. Upper pitchers are more than double in size, growing up to 15cm high and 10cm wide.
Plant is in 68mm squat pot for scale, will be shipped in pot.
