From a single carefully selected clone out of microprop.
The female parent is Nepenthes spathulata and is of the same superlative clone as those sold under BE-3174. The male parent is a selected red example of Nepenthes gymnamphora.
This is a very robust and spectacular cross as the photos show and is a highly prolific producer of dark chocolate brown pitchers. The first photo in the series shows a spectacular mature plant in a 25cm (10in) pot. This particular clone was selected from amongst many for its rich coloration.
The photos shown here are of the same clone as plants shipped. Plant is in 68mm squat pot for scale, will be shipped in pot.
