Nepenthes maxima "Dark" x bongso "flared"
This hybrid has great potential to produce pitchers with dark bodies and peristomes. Maxima is an adaptable species and grower and I expect this hybrid to grow well under intermediate and highland conditions.
The juveniles are already showing dark peristomes, and the pitcher bodies should get darker and darker as the plants mature. These are seed grown, and there is some interesting variability between plants - I’ve attached the parent photos and three examples of the juveniles to give an idea of the variability.
Plants will be shipped bare rooted with the root ball wrapped in sphagnum.
